DEAR
FESTIVALGOERS...

WE KNOW YOU LIKE THE BACK OF OUR HAND

In collaboration with: A research project by:

#IStandFor by Beefeater is an anthropological study conducted at the BBK Live and Mad Cool 2017 festivals. Through lots (and lots) of questions and lots of technology, we discovered how these festivalgoers that were born in the 80s and 90s are and what do they stand for.

*All data has been collected from our game and the on-site activations at the festivals.

This was the number of brave individuals that participated in our experience. Out of all of them:

And using their good hand, whichever it was, they answered to our questions. Where did the laziest come from? And the biggest haters? We found out many things we didn’t expect.

GALICIA
Galicia is the place that prefers the “Netflix and chill” plan instead of doing some sport. We guess the rain and the cold don’t really help, no.

VALENCIA
Go Valencia go: people here prefer to live in vampire mode instead of having a early night.

CATALONIA
Here’s where Tinder wins over the antique holding-eye-contact technique. Superlike for Catalonia.

ARAGON
Aragon is the place where more idealists live: they prefer to “change the world” better than being rich more than anywhere else. Teruel and good people exist.

CANARY ISLANDS
Canary Islands like to finish the gig and run to the next one instead of chilling. Must be the time difference.

MADRID
Madrid is the place where headliners have it best. Makes sense, it’s the headlining city.

This was the amount of litres that went down.
Of which:

0

litres of gin went down in glasses

(Beefeater drunk)
*Data collected from Bilbao BBK Live, Mad Cool and Aemet.

0

litres came down the sky

(Rain that fell)

Time to make a bet: where did they drink more gin, in Madrid or in Bilbao?
*Data collected by sober people.

There’s no proper study without a field exploration; we went to the Bilbao BBK Live and Mad Cool 2017 festivals, and we set up all sorts of crazy interactive installations to know these music warriors better.
